Just re-read this one. The epitome of Nordic Noir for me. Glorious pacing, and more believable characters than many other authors I've encountered in the genre.

This book is a life changer, if you are open to it.

Every time!! Top shelf

Enjoyed, Boris was the highlight for me as I'm sure was the same for many others.Although I did struggle with some of Theo's streams of consciousness, and found them slightly too waffly and drawn out. But overall some great themes and lessons learnt by Theo.

Mildy entertaining, not not a lot of substance to these books though.

Never has there been such a shamus.

Didn't finish, found no appeal in the prose or content.

Great read and as we already knew, Steve ain't then nicest of chaps on a good day but goddamn he is one smart mofo

One of the hardest reads I've tackled it took an eternity to get through. But I thoroughly enjoyed Kafka's dark dreamscape of a novel.

A great follow on if you enjoyed The Godfather.

Just fantastic, a must read! If you thought the movie was good then get this book.

Boring!! Whoever called this thriller of the year needs to get their head checked! Aside from a few points of tension, I found this underwhelming..

This book took me forever to get through, even so in was an intriguing read, I would recommend to anyone with an Interest in the history of humanity in the last few centuries.

I enjoyed this though not nearly as much as other Vonnegut

This book was so epic I read it in a day, definitely the same vibe going for it as Millenium trilogy, I can see myself getting into Nesbo for sure. Maybe not as amazing as Millenium trilogy books but very good, great characters and plot unfolds nicely. CHur

One of my favorite books ever, the perfect image of a detective in America back in the day. Gripping writing, tension is high and Chandler is a true master of the Metaphor. Phillip Marlowe is a classic character. Highly recommended.

Great read classic English WWII setting, McEwan writes so well, fantastic.
