Love the entire series. DND (or an MMO) + Discworld.

Creative imagery, great world building excellent story, fun prose.

Imagery etc is wonderful and will stick with me, story is actually pretty boring

Love the prose, mostly interesting story, setting is "race swapped Ancient Rome with names changed," which was interesting too. Surprisingly pro-imperialism.

Haunting, and especially poignant for anyone who has gone through training (especially residency of course) in the American medical system

Everyone is too nice and so far very little has happened. Not for me!
