didn't love this . liked the concept but it didn't do very much at all for me

perplexed a bit. i love jennette mccurdy’s voice in her writing and i really liked a lot of things about this book, but something’s stopping me from saying i liked the book as a whole. it’s super graphic and i think maybe i found it to end up being a bit repetitive and a bit too long? i do really like what the book had to say as a whole though, and the short chapters were really great. just don’t know exactly how i feel about the execution of it

between a 2.75 and a 3 star. can’t decide

needed to be a lot shorter than it is but i’m glad i can say i finally read it

the person who recommended this said it was black mirror-esque and i couldn't have put it better myself. terribly bleak but very well written and riveting

enjoyed this shockingly way more than i expected to. i think a lot could have been improved (i didn’t love the writing a lot of the time) but i think the concept of the multiverse was a really nice way to get across the message the book has. i’m surprised and delighted to not have wasted a week reading this, mainly because i notoriously don’t like sci-fi and will usually not go for it .. so yay
