Ava Taube

I have reread this a silly amount of times and it gets me every single time for different reasons on each read. Amazing story structure and characters, I would consider this a modern classic.

I haven’t reread this book since high school and since before learning exactly how much of the story and dialogue was taken from Zelda Fitzgerald’s personal journals/diaries. Makes a huge difference in how I’m perceiving the story a second time.

Favorite book to reread in the summer! Just an absolute classic all around, funny and heartwarming and adventurous. I adore how often Goldman breaks the fourth wall during the book as well (I usually hate author’s notes but his are very entertaining).
