I might actually do a full review of this later i haven't cried this hard over a book in years.
Mainly I'd say:
1. I normally am not a huge fan of books based on someone's life story out of an interview so I did not expect to like this as much as I did
2. 100% lives up to the hype I heard
3. I wasn't a huge fan of the parts about Moniques life in the moment but I like how it came together in the end
4. While I know it wouldn't have worked with how the book was structured (and how her life was) I would've liked there to be a part 8 called Celia
So a confession, I saw the first book in this series awhile back on the popular reads on goodreads. After seeing the amazing cover art (which is really clever by the way) and reading the summary I wanted to read the naturals so bad. When I got it from the library I finished in a day (that's perfectly normal though) and I was so shocked and excited for the next book. I went on goodreads and found the rest of the series, after marking the rest as to read I looked at the final book's release date to see if it had come out yet. It hadn't. So I planned to space out reading the second and third so I wouldn't have long to wait for the fourth. Well that plan didn't go so well, here I am a month after I read the first and I've already read the second and third, whoops. If that doesn't tell you how much I love the series I don't know what will. And let me tell you, the third is no disappointment, it's amazing.
I love this book! The ending was completely surprising, I only saw it two pages before the reveal and I was shocked at the motive behind it. Cassie is an amazing person who is super relatable and all the other characters have really grown on me, even the ones I didn't originally like. I rave about this book all the time to some of my friends, it probably gets annoying. I would recommend this to anyone who like YA and crime scenes. You don't have to be a mystery lover to love this book. (Although I kinda am)
