This was super cute and a lot of fun!

I originally read this back in January of 2011, but decided to do a re-read. This time, though, I listened to the audio book (which is short! It's only a few hours). It was a wonderful choice, as Carrie Fisher's delivery throughout the book is perfect, and her sarcasm and wit shine through much better.

This is such an important book.

Let's be real.. a bit of a mess at some points, but there were some things that I liked.

Nicola's art in this issue is SO good.

Read as single issues.

Pretty sure I'm a masochist. Favorite lines: “music to my dick” and “my cock concurs.”

I really enjoyed the first few issues, but then the art changed and it was awful. :( Really ruined the story for me.

I tried, I really did.. but after almost an entire year of this thing sitting on my Currently Reading shelf, I've given up.

I wish I could see what everyone else has seen in this series, but I wasn't a fan of Stiefvater's writing and I found this book to be terribly slow.

bored and disinterested almost 30% in, so throwing in the towel. 🤷🏻‍♀️
