Call me out of the loop if you will but apparently Dave Eggers doesn't JUST write funny, goofy, highbrow stuff. Zeitoun is straight-up reportage, and it's definitely decent. I did have to remind myself repeatedly that this all HAPPENED, this isn't made up. It's certainly a shock.
