Short, sweet, and spicy! A fun little holiday themed romp, Doesn't take itself too seriously which is an asset for a romance novella, that by nature has to be somewhat insta-love. Overall just a good christmas themed time!

Unfortunately this collection of short stories was a very mixed bag for me, mostly leaning in the wrong direction. There was a couple of gems in here but overall the collection as a whole fell flat for me.

A visually interesting depiction of an old favourite! The illustrations were wonderful, however the characterisation did suffer a little due to the skipped content (although understandable cuts had to be made due to the format).

RIP to all the pups and Mrs Chippy - victims of man's hubris 💔

My first T. Kingfisher but it's not going to be my last. I loved this; the characters were complex and intriguing, the plot was fascinating with great pacing, and the prose was lovely to read. Really excited to jump into more from this author given how much I enjoyed this, can't recommend enough.

not really any choice but to give 5 stars given the gut-renching existential dread this left me with.

Gritty collection of dark stories with even darker plot twists.
Some gems in this collection that I really enjoyed, but others were just a bit meh. I'd be intrigued to see more from this author as she really hooked me in with some of these short stories!

Unfortunately I just didn't enjoy this at all. The “enemies to lovers” felt forced, the dramas were very trite and contrived and I found myself rolling my eyes constantly nearer the end. Good bones of a story that just needed more than this novella could give it.

After the 5th “Mummy” in the span of 12 pages I knew I wouldn't make it through this.
