Book Eater's Most Popular Reviews

Turns out the book I'd been needing involves charismatic robot friends making perfect noodles and building community in a future post-war San Francisco. This is the newest addition to my Comfort Reads list; the ones I reread when in need of cheering-up (or just continuing on). I love it so much that immediately after finishng the audiobook I bought the hardcover (autographed!) as well. Highly recommended.

I just finished Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid and absolutely loved it! The audiobook was beautifully read by Kristen DiMercurio and Julia Whelan, with an intro read by the author. If you loved The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones & the Six, if you love space, if you love love, read it now! I will definitely read this again.

Holy cow the narration by Harlan Ellison (yes that Harlan Ellison) is so much fun!

This graphic novel is such a delight! Pumpernickel Pickle Periwinkle Chuckwu Okorafor is not only the beloved pet of author Nnedi Okorafor. He has a secret nightlife of adventures in his personal spaceship. The character, the story, and Tana Ford's artwork had me giggling and charmed from beginning to end. Another addition to my Comfort Reads List!
