Spoooooooky Crisp

Pretty boring & repetitive toward the end, but the first half gives an incredibly informative history of money that I think is of interest to every modern American!

Good book with some interesting insights on why we want what we want and recognizing negative cycles of envy and consumption that leave us feeling empty.

Great challenge overall to want fewer things, seek better connection with your neighbors through empathy, and distinguish between “thick” and “thin” desires in life...

Interesting concept brought up about the MCODE (Motivational Code) - a list of different themes that we are motivated by in life that you can be assessed on. Want to look into that more.

Think I was wanting more clear, practical advice and the book kinda jumped around between business / spiritual / self-help / history a bit... felt a bit repetitive at times as well. Overall worth a read though

So good. So scary.

TLDR; save as much money as you can and put it all in a total stock market mutual fund. Good advice

Lovely little book!

Biiiiig baseball guy...

Fun, easy read that coincided quite nicely with the Rangers winning the big one last week. My first King book from a few weeks ago also just happened to be set in October. Spooky...
