The Perfect Son

This was really good, another with twists and turns. I really like how it makes you wrestle with who is the bad guy vs good guy and trying to figure out the whole time who you are rooting for and not. And also how there are things society has decided are objectively frowned upon and praised and we follow those rules and make assumptions.

this was pretty good! Not my usual genre but I enjoyed the twists. Couldn’t have predicted the ending.

A few good gems, but mostly a very bro-y approach to life. I kept reading because I’m a masochist for productivity/personal development/biohacking things like this, but honestly would have been a better listicle than a whole book. I don’t think I really cared for a lot of the commentary, even though many of the general points made seemed useful. But I’m definitely gonna keep using sunscreen despite his recommendations otherwise lol. (Yeah there’s some stuff like that.)

Sue & Tai-chan, Vol. 1

very cute. I’m not much into manga but I’ve started getting into some cat ones. It’s a very cute classic old grumpy cat and baby kitten learning to love each other. Very adorable and quick read. Ready for book 2!

The Museum of Intangible Things

This was a good book, but fair warning it’s a very sad ending. I liked the story and the take away is more about learning to appreciate things about life and really live your life. I love the tangible applications on intangible emotions and concepts.

Trigger warning: suicide
