visually, this book is amazing, one of the best mangas I've read. the monster designs and just sheer scale of the horrors in this is really incredible. however, the plot and characters are basically non-existent. I felt bored through most of it, and was never actually frightened by anything in here. great as an art book, very dissapointing as a narrative.

i never wanna go to a hotel ever again

fun, tragic, heartfelt story of a little life in nazi germany. writing style felt a little bland at times, but the story got a nice flow in general, and the dialogue was well written.

I liked most of the stories in this book (some more than others), but, meh, kinda draining to start a new story each reading session. 

Amazing book. 

A wonderfully weird exploration of immortality and what it means to be human. The writing style, especially in the chapters taking place in the past, was immaculate.
