Excellent read. A little too much bugs for my liking but sooooo good. There were some parts of the writing that felt like there were plot holes but great storyline overall.
Really interesting and unique storyline but the writing is not for me - way too descriptive that didn't exactly add value. The book could've been half the length and still delivered the same effect.
My first dark romance and I am conflicted. I really enjoyed the storyline and arc but the "darkness" was definitely a hard pill to swallow at some points.
Absolutely devoured this book. If you have that ACOTAR hangover, this is definitely right up that alley and can fill some of that void. There's just enough comedic banter mixed in with bloody war and occasional smut to keep you on your toes
