I was a bit hesitant going into this book because, even though I loved the concept, influencer books are pretty hit-or-miss, but I think Brooke Averick did a really great job. The characters felt realistic, and while the ending worked itself out a bit easily for my liking, at least it didn’t turn into a crazy 3rd act conflict that a lot of romances fall into.

Phoebe was a relatable character for me, as someone who didn’t really have a lot of romantic experiences until after high school was over. Her anxiety was also very true to mine, the stomach pains and nausea as well.
