Unfortunately, I think a lot of what I didn't like about the book was related to the time it was written. The run-on sentences wore me out. I didn't find myself growing attached to any of the characters. On the plus side, I added a few words to my vocabulary list!

I would have rated 1 star, but I have to applaud the creativity and Sci-Fi written over 100 years ago, which has probably been re-done many times since.
