A book that packs understandings from multiple stoics. It's useful that it also tries to translate what the stoics were teaching so you can apply it to the modern world(certainly not walking around barefooted but for example, finding struggles to strengthen your willpower(cold baths anyone?)
I found multiple areas that helped me improve my understanding of stoicism and practice as a novice of the philosophy. Areas such as, negative visualization, anger, insults, trichotomy of control, happiness and contentment are covered among others.
It has also introduced me to a few more Stoics as I just started with Marcus Aurelius so now I am moving to some content from Epictitus and Seneca.
Definitely a book to read if you are looking an easy to digest form of the stoic wisdom.
