What are your favorite books centered around magical girls?

I've been wanting to get into literature about magical girls! I finished A Magical Girl Retires by Park Seolyeon recently. Feel free to give any recommendations similar to it if you have any!

didn't expect the yuri, but i am very happy about it lol. a nice, short read (finished in one sitting); wished it was longer. would love if they expounded on ah roa and the mc's (who i realize now remains unnamed?) relationship and “destiny”, as well as ah roa's backstory instead of it just being hinted at.

i would absolutely love a sequel where the mc re-attempts to navigate living in a capitalistic society, but this time with someone (ah roa) by her side, and to have both of their backstories explored more! would also like to have a bunch of my questioned answered, like:

- what happened to all the magical girls whose powers got taken after trying to subdue the magical girl of time?

- what measures are they gonna take to combat climate change now that the magical girl of time is out of the picture?

overall good book for me, would definitely reread :]

required reading for g8. real head scratcher + kept me up at night for sure. we had a class/group debate about it and i was locked tf in. that was the peak of my english class that year i think
