3.5 stars. If insta-love isn't your thing, this one won't be for you. That being said, it was real cute and I'm interested in reading the others in this series.

Very awkward and ends on a cliffhanger.

Solid four stars. The first half of this dang book was so slow, as a lot of SJM books tend to be for me. It was like nothing happened for 350 pages. I felt pulled away to read other books, which is why it took me 3.5 months to finish it.
But once the halfway point passed, things really picked up and I was hooked yet again.
I was so excited to finally see Aelin and Manon meet! After an entire book and a half of waiting for our two queens to come face to face! And it was an awesome fight too.
Going to tandem read Empire and Tower... wish me luck!

DNF @ 62%

Maybe horror just isn't my genre. Maybe it was the writing style. Idk, but I REALLY tried to get into this. I started wanting to DNF around 15% but stuck it out to 62%... honestly I was bored to tears.

This installment was especially fun.

I was so excited to finally hear Britney's side of her story, after so many years of mixed stories from everyone else in her life. This memoir was at times heartbreaking, funny, silly, and eye opening. I recommend this book to anyone who has ever loved Britney.

I gave four stars cuz I was craving even more details. This book could be twice as long and I'd probably still want more.

Thank you Netgalley for a digital ARC!

Ogami-San Cant Keep It In was a fun manga! I will definitely be looking for future volumes!
Ogami-san is a THIRSTY girl. She is obsessed with sex, but never had it. She has a crush on her classmate Yaginuma-kun, who has a magical quirk that makes people say their desires out loud when they touch him. This makes for some awkward but funny situations.
This manga was silly and relatable. It was shockingly not spicy at all, even though the FMC is a horndog.

This book started out fine. Student/teacher is one of those fantasies and tropes that has a stranglehold on me so of course I was intrigued.
But once they hooked up it just got weird and corny. The dialogue was awkward. And I can't even count how many times I read the word tits.

I'm not a huge fan of holiday-themed romance novels, but there is something about these big blue aliens that I just couldn't resist.

Loved the mix of monster romance and second chance. My biggest issue was the many spelling and grammatical errors.

The first half of this damn book took me over three months to get through. It just seemed to drag on so I kept putting it to the side and reading other books. But I finally committed and it ramped up. Loved the second half of the book.
My only gripe is Manon. I can't figure out how she will fit into the overall story yet. I found myself groaning when a new chapter was one of hers. It felt out of place in this book.

This book is very intense and very dark, so I suggest reading the trigger warnings.

That being said, I loved Killian. He's a literal psychopath and sociopath, but he's so honest about his nature that you can't help but love him.

Glyndon wasn't my favorite, but she was at least relatable.

Definitely will be continuing this series!!

I think I can predict that this will be my BOTY.

Holy shit. This book gripped me from page fucking one and wouldn't let go until the very last.
Character development: A+
Relationship development: A++
Action scenes: A
Spice: B+ (needed to be longer/more often

Overall, this story feels rushed. Lucian calls Dahlia his “treasure” before he even meets her for the first time. And the time jumps really bothered me while reading, like the authors were just trying to skate over all the relationship building, so it felt like them falling in love within a month was unrealistic. It felt like a lot of details were missing. This book definitely could've been twice as long.
The character's personalities didn't make me care much about them either. Dahlia is insecure as hell, which, given her history is understandable, but it doesn't even seem like she grows up at all. Lucian is just dumb. A clueless man who can't read the signs his woman is sending.
A petty gripe I had: Dahlia's nickname “Dah” is stupid.
The story felt unfinished as well. While Dahlia may have gotten over her biggest issue, Lucian didn't. Nothing was resolved with his ex or his family problems.
Not sure if I will continue this series.

Sweet little flashback novella for Barbarian Mine. Takes place during the one year jump in Mine.

Not my favorite of the series but still enjoyable!
