A new myth for the tech age

My first Harkaway, and an absolutely intense read. Reminded me in some weird way of Hofstadter's GEB. A meta story about stories themselves, art and artists, society and technology. At its heart though about people, integrity, persistence and sacrifice.

Weaves in hints of ancient myths, sometimes subtle, sometimes in your face.

It's a great detective story alone, but it was such a joy to read such a well written book - challenging at times, but plenty of breadcrumbs to see you through.
