I enjoyed the overall plot of this book. Pirate adventures at sea. Crazy remade people merged with animals and other forms of life and legends of myaterious power.
The characters and story flow kept this at 3 stars for me but TBH the ending was a let down. The crew of the pirate city never actually got the Scar, so much build up only to be forced to turn around and never get there at the end.
