while i did like the book and learned a bit from it, many portions were not relevant to me due to societal and cultural differences, which is no fault of the book itself.
its genuinely scary to see how such concepts in the book are still relevant today, the only thing that's changed is how we perceive and analyze things. the only question i can think about now is am i in the middle, or low?
i don't like horror and after reading this i still don't, but this was a rather interesting read! rather messy in terms of the family tree, but this book was short enough to digest!
this book was rather enlightening, but -1/2 star for the faux deckled pages and another for how this book failed to see the short list of pros of the education system and completely bashed it
holy shit man i truly understand why there were 3.4k holds for this on libby for my country. this was such as amazing read, but lost a half star for the slightly tough to digest science talk. would 100% read again!
loved how cute the book was, especially the little portions from different people about what they love and hate about running. this book was incredibly insightful, albeit slightly irrelevant due to different cultural norms in my country.
Was browsing the library while waiting for my boyfriend and came across this book. An amazing read, this did help change my perspective on death, especially since "On the Nature of Daylight" started playing while I was on that chapter.
