Engaging, fun characters and relationships. Can’t give it more stars, though, because of the writing style. First, the character development just wasn’t there. They were pretty thin. Mostly, the writing was almost as if it was written in short scenes for a tv show. It was tiring.

I wanted to like this book. I had heard such good reviews. Although the prose was beautifully written, I just couldn’t connect with the characters. The story just seemed to go nowhere, and I decided not to finish at page 272.
