See allAt times, the book is undeniably hot and sensual. Centering the story around art and a gallery is a clever and stylish choice for an erotic novel. That said, I sometimes found the writing a bit too blunt and to the point—the sex scenes are detailed, but lack a certain beauty and vividness. I also felt that Mona goes along with everything and seems to enjoy whatever Malcolm does, which can come across as somewhat clichéd. Some chapters felt a bit too vulgar for my taste, and I ended up skipping them. Overall, though, it’s an engaging erotic read with an intriguing ending

This is a beautifully written novel and an absolute page-turner—I genuinely struggled to put it down. I’m a sucker for twist-driven stories, and this one delivers in a way that feels both surprising and satisfying without being cheap.
What really stands out is how cleverly the narrative is constructed. The tension builds steadily, and just when you think you understand what’s going on, the story shifts in a way that completely reframes everything you’ve read.
If I had one small critique, it’s that I would have liked a bit more insight into Kathy and Gabriel’s affair—why it happened, what they felt, and how it developed. Exploring that more deeply could have added even greater emotional weight to the story.
Overall, this is a gripping, intelligently crafted thriller that I’d highly recommend. Definitely a must-read if you enjoy psychological twists and unreliable narrators.
