Recommended - Straightforward read. Nothing particularly special, but was alright.

Recommended - Full of all kinds of amazing red flags for the ML, with slight misogynistic undertones. Fun to read though!

Maybe - The smut was good. Plot and characters was.. not great.

Maybe - Very frustrating to see a supposedly strong female protagonist not do much at all.

Recommended - A genuinely good story with an amazing FMC who is actually powerful and cunning. I'm also glad the author was respectful about topics that have real world parallels, like taking the Change being akin to transgender transition, or the call of Bloodhill being like suicide. The moment with her friends parents confronting her about their child taking the Change. Man. Although I wasnt terribly invested in the "whodunnit" mystery aspect of the story, I have to admit the climactic chapter was very satisfying.
