Thoroughly enjoyed this entry! The pacing in this book is fantastic, allowing for excellent development across the board. Derek makes some truly significant progress here, and watching his growth and power evolution hit these new milestones was incredibly satisfying. I much preferred the longer format of this book; it gave the story and world-building the room they needed to breathe, making for a deeply engaging read from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love this series and can't wait for the next. The world building is great and we finally got a peak behind the curtain of the system!
