Really this should be zero stars. DNF. The constant references to phallic energy and all of the mansplaining put me over the edge.

Really a 2.5. Slow start. End was good but still took too long to get to.

Disturbing and haunting.

Read for the first time in many years. Still as powerful and disturbing as I remember.

Enjoyed it until the last 30 pages. I feel like he wrote himself into a corner and had to resort to a trick to get out.

Started out well as a nice story about a librarian following her dream to open her own book shop (on wheels), but the last third had too much romance and drama.

Disturbingly accurate even after 20+ years.

Felt like they tried to draw out the suspense (which I didn't even find suspenseful) and then the ending was ridiculous. Such a cop out and unrealistic. And I had such high hopes . . .

Cute, very quick read. Would have been great for the beach or pool.

More like a 2.5 star rating. The writing was excellent, but the story wasn't for me. Each section could have been a standalone book.

I really couldn't get into this book. It was beautifully written, but could still not hold my attention.

My review can't do this book justice. One that will stick with me for a long time. Can't wait to share this book with my girls.

Disturbing and quietly violent.

An interesting story, but could have been condensed to a series of articles.

I really enjoyed this book. The pacing was perfect at making me feel like I was in the story. Beautifully told.

I wanted to like this book so much more. The people were so interesting and I'm glad their stories were being told, but I couldn't get past the way the author meandered along through the stories. She admits to not being a writer and it showed.

If I were a timewalker like Diana Bishop I would go back and tell myself not to bother reading this book. A disappointing end to a (very) long series.

Interesting approach to a story. I loved the photos throughout. Sort of lost me with the feeling that it was a mash-up of too many genres, times, etc. But I still wanted to know what happened, so generally I enjoyed it.

This is a 4.5 star book. Love his writing, but some of the material in here was so hard to read. Love the way it all came together.
