Trope-y in all the best possible ways with exquisite character work to boot! And the knotting 🤤 just warms my perverted little monsterfucker heart 💖

Absolutely charming! You can see where some of Tezuka rubbed off on Disney animators in spots. Just a fantastic little time capsule in cartooning and style 💖

Maybe my only nitpick would be ASL has different syntax that could have been represented, but it feels like a good faith effort was still made to have good deaf community representation. I especially appreciate how the male voice enunciated Layla's speaking lines like someone with a hearing imparement and didn't just gloss over that detail.

Now I wonder if the girls are gonna start going full bore into agriculture and bring about an agrarian revolution 🤔 Prime Directive doesn't count if you've got no way back, you might as well introduce crop rotation and greenhouse concepts to make your stay a little easier.

Didn't know what to expect, and now I fear I'm hooked along with the rest of the world! Wild how well Dinniman managed to squash a videogame into a novel like that. Worlds on worlds, layers on layers, all sorts of goodies to unravel in future installments...

I might not be a Paleo-zoologist, but seeing what I do know about birds and reptiles represented with accuracy and care makes me so happy! Having briefly been a zookeeper (assistant to, but still), the vibes are all over accurate behind the scenes too.

Watch me devour this series 💖

This one resonated with me most, with Kira being so much like myself. Every entry gets a bit more of the mystery unraveled and a bit more worldbuilding done, which I enjoy a skotch more than the already enjoyable romances!
