The point of these posts is to be pithy, not thorough (as I typically strive for). --- This is such a strange, comforting, hilarious, and relatable collection of short pieces. Some are memoirs, some are humorous pieces, some are hard to define. All are absolutely worth your time. They will warm your heart, bring a smile to your face, and make you feel all sorts of things.
I think this would work well on the page—but do yourself a favor and get it on audio. Myers' delivery is so good (as anyone who's watched her videos knows), hearing her words in her voice really captures the intangibles of the book in a way that I don't think that the page is fully capable of.
