Heartbreakingly wonderful, especially for one who has lost a parent.

Boring and could not connect with protagonist at all

Boring start but I got through it. I couldn't connect with Amanda at all. What a mess of a woman. I would have liked to have read more about Jane Kelly (and why was she written as such an insufferable character? What happened to make her SO miserable... besides being 98 w/ cancer?).
