Surprisingly poorly written for a book that's been hyped across social media. It's an easy read, but I wonder if I finished it skimming because I couldn't get through the dialogue, internal monologue, and vague descriptions of the world.

Definitely better than the first book, with more than sexual tension driving the plot. But both Violet and Xaden were unbearable to read
