Cute little romance story. I'm always in when a bookstore is part of the backdrop.

Very quick to read, finally got me out of my reading slump!

It's been a hot minute since I've read historical fiction and this was great! It's got it all: art, mystery, murder, romance, NYC, and some feels. Loved it.

Loved it. A woodsy, creepy mystery that kept me up way too late.

Just couldn't put it down, it flew by. I feel bad saying it was a “fun” read because a baby gets kidnapped, but I had fun reading it.

It started out interesting but got tedious and boring. I know the main character was obsessed but reading through his spiraling over and over made me feel like nothing really progressed. Which was maybe the point, but it felt more like work than fun to get through it.

This was a satisfyingly creepy and disturbing story. It felt fresh to me snd kept me wondering what would happen next and I couldn't put it down. I'm excited to see what else this author writes.

A beautiful and vivid middle grade story about prejudice, grief, acceptance, and familial love.

I didn't want it to end.

I liked the first half and didn't really mind the religion aspect. The second half couldn't keep my attention. 3 stars for the decluttering inspiration.

Great psychological thriller that kept me guessing (sometimes correctly, sometimes not) until the end.

This was a lighthearted, fun, and quick book. Though tied up a little too quickly/neat and somehow still incomplete. Could really go for some Filipino food now...

I enjoyed the writing and that itself kept me reading but the story was ultimately unsatisfying. The book scratched the surface of the story's potential and just... stops. Literally.

Loved this story and didn't find it too long winded, I couldn't put it down. It's one of King's best known and liked books for a reason. Annie literally gave me nightmares!

4.75 stars, could have done with a little bit less of the Misery chapters.

Absolutely loved it. It has a bit of everything: humor, love, mystery, history, and a thriller. And while I didn't want it to end, the ending was extremely satisfying and jumps ahead years to show you where the characters end up. I loved that.

So well done. The author masterfully captures grief and the longing, searching, and targetless anger that goes with it. It's a beautiful and painful story of loss and a family unraveling. I love how you care about the characters, then hate them, they are complicated and flawed, but you love them.

Great book. Very engaging plot, it pulls you in right away. It's funny even as it takes on the topic of racism and white saviors. It will make you think, and cringe.

Very strange, downright weird book. I was into it till about 45%. Then I sped read the rest just to see what happened and how it ended. Definitely liked it less and less as it went on, Lucy the main character especially.

Definitely not for everyone, and not for me.
