Really fun romp

Not quite as good as other emily st John Mendel, but still delightful.

Finished it to discover the author is from wmass. Guess I have predictable preferences

A favorite, and a delight on reread

Even better than the first! Rather different and such a delight!

A romp! I read it faster than I've read anything in a while. The world building is delightful, and it's impossible to keep track of all the names.

At times riveting and at times boring, but I'm glad I stuck with it.

I really loved the worldbuilding.

I really enjoyed it... but as much as I thought I would. I felt like it hit a lot of the same themes as never let me go, but that it didn't have as much to say about it. I continue to love the way that Ishiguro disrupts the classic idea of what a dystopia is or would feel like. And I am always wowed by his prose. It just didn't have quite the same magic as some of his other books.

A great success for book club #1. Genuinely engrossing in a way many classics are not.

Beautiful, one of my favorites in a while. Only made better by all the Philly content.

A somewhat disappointint end to the series. There were parts I loved, and Sanderson's world building continues to be excellent, but it felt like he really lost track of the characters in this one. Also, every section jumping back and forth between almost every character was pretty overwhelming. It works well when it's for an important action sequence at the end of previous books, but it just felt like too much here.
