I liked this! I still prefer Hawley's non-modern romantasy (just finished Princess of Blood, #2 in the Shards of Magic series, and man does that zip along), but #2 in Glimmer Falls is stronger than #1. Many of the same characters, but I like the snappy tension between the mains better, and the MMC's amnesia (that's not a spoiler, you find out in the first few chapters) is an interesting conceit. For me, the thing about modern romantasy as opposed to romantasy generally is that it's hard to get enough world-building in to make the setting have real tension as opposed to being twee (I would level this same criticism at Ali Hazelwood's Bride, etc., and Hazelwood is one of my fave standout authors!). Still, if you want cute, low stress reading, this is a good series.
