
The quality of the spice is 5/5, as I would expect from any Sierra Simone, bless her, but only of moderate quantity. I like the elements of paganism in this one, but the length felt a little too short to hold the weight of the plot? Like I need more world-building? Or it's so so clear it's part of a set as opposed to something that stands alone? As my question marks indicate, I'm not wedded to those opinions, and for sure I'll read the rest of the series.
