An interesting read for any hip-hop fan. Jordan Ferguson does a good job of recalling the life of arguably the most iconic person in hip-hop's most iconic album. As a Dilla fan, I appreciate some of the insight on his life and the things that he did for the music industry. I'd recommend to any audiophile.
This book is a good, and I feel necessary read for most evangelicals I am in contact with. The arguement by Barcellos that the Lord's Supper is more than a memorial is well thought out and supported with exegisis of spcripture. I thouroughly enjoyed and would recommend this book to anyone looking to read about the meaning of the Lord's Supper.
Wendell Berry's writing is beautifully simplistic and his way of writing moves the reader passionately through the story of ordinary Jayber Crow. A wonderful story with many lessons to be learned through the life of Port William's barber, namely, the uniquely loving outlook of the world, small towns, nature, and everyday life. I recommend this book to anyone.
Well written, with good intention of Licona staying away from his supernatural presuppositions. Good read for anyone interested in the Resurrection.
