Wonderful and informative account of the history of Captain William Kidd. Zacks has done an incredible amount of research in finding the real story of Captain Kidd and his subsequent trial for piracy. The book has just the right balance of novel style writing blended with facts and figures. It gives a good insight into the workings of the English system of law in the early 18th century, and how frightening it could be if you were on the wrong side of it. The audiobook version, narrated by Michael Prichard, is well recorded.
I have to say I really enjoyed listening to this audio book. It is read by the author and written in a casual, conversational style tone that allows for easy listening and absorption of the ideas presented. Joe Vitale presents a 5 step process to enhance creating what you desire in your life using the principles of the Law of Attraction. The 5 steps are easy to follow and implement and facilitate immediate results. I was surprised at how quickly, by using a few of his techniques, I was able to see and feel positive effects. I really appreciate this audio book and feel it could help anyone to change their way of thinking to the positive, feel more gratitude and in turn create the life they want. Thank you Mr. Vitale for such an inspiring and educational way of thinking!
I loved this book! The plot was crazy and even I didn't expect some of the turns! The protagonists were fun and I adored them! When I read it I couldn't believe how real some of it seemed! There was so much in the story line, I was hanging on to every bit of it! It even had humor that was actually funny! This is told in first person and in present tense, which adds to the excitement. I couldn't put it down, it was so good! I'm pleased with this well-written book, and I will be reading the next books as soon as possible. Go request Masterminds from your library now!

A Wolf for a Spell is a breath-taking novel that throws a twist on fairy tales we know and love. The characters are beautifully written into the story with accompanying illustrations that really help you to imagine the story. It was very satisfying to see a wolf as a hero! The author has taken many characters and stories and has turned them into a tale that anyone who has passion for wolves, like myself, would love! It was exciting to watch how the characters dealt with each problem, each bit of conflict that came along. If you haven't already, request A Wolf for a Spell from your library!
