so so well written! loved the mmc & fmc, really liked how their relationship developed & how the mmc was so gentle & strong. didn't like that fmc kept not communicating w mmc whenever something upset her, but hey we all have our flaws. the smut was exquisite, truly.

i was bored reading this. didn't care of any of the characters, or the storyline much. i guess the writing style wasn't my favourite, otherwise i would have probably gobbled it up.

i love non contemporary romances so so much! loved how the story properly explored the characters & their motivations, we got to see them falling in love and understood why they would in fact fall in love. i liked the fmc so much, especially how she refreshingly did trust the man she loved & didn't shy away from her love. i have realised that men like asa are exactly my type

love an enemies to lovers but just didn't love this. i'm very proudly a Mean Person™️ but honestly just being around this couple would have made me want to bash my head in. i love a lil snark, some banter, different ideologies on life kinda vibe.

this however wasn't it. the guy was mean to her for no reason and i'm not a fan of that. he was also suddenly so into her for no reason, like yes the sex was great i suppose but what about her do u actually love dude?

and omg, the way he kept shitting on her field, i could never respect a man who spoke to me in that way. then he kept saying no that he did in fact respect her, but his words just didn't indicate that. also if someone kept saying that i ‘screech', they would honestly never be graced w my presence again. what a loser 40 year old.

i didn't completely love the mc, even though i completely understood the whole mean inner persona + people pleaser stuff. totally relatable. but man, you're nearly 40, please get your act together & cut off your narcissistic dad.

i guess i realised that i like messy characters only when they have a reason to be & stay messy. i also just don't like doctors

not a fan of fisting, but i did like the writing and the first scene. wish there was more angst and exploration of the moral dilemma but it's a short book so it's good for what it is.
