Short but sweet. But I would not say that this story doesn't make an impact. It is a Sleeping Beauty Retelling, and I love the way the story is told. There is romance, there's magic, there's curses. We do not get the entire story of the realm and what happened in the past, but I feel like the author left it open enough at the end that it could definitely continue fairly easily. There's not a lot of world building, but there is at least a foundation. All in all, I feel like this book is a good quick read, and something that could be expanded upon in future books.
