I was a little hesitant to pick up this book because the description didn't sound quite like something I would enjoy but I'm so glad I did. It strikes such a perfect balance between grim dark and comedy, which I absolutely loved. The characters were all so likeable and well characterized. The subtle shifts in writing from each character's perspective were so well done. I could often tell who the narrator was focused on just by the word choice and tone. It's a bit heavier on the gore and gross-ness than many other fantasy novels (but nothing too horrible, just something to note), but if you're ok with that kind of thing then I 100% recommend it. I had an absolute blast reading this.
