So this book is not a sequel to I Am Pilgrim, which I thought it was to my mistake. Regardless, the book follows a strong arc and left me wondering midway through - how am I only midway through? The story takes a somewhat odd arc, which at the time I felt was almost uncomfortable. However, on finishing the book I believe it's an odd turn, but one that fits the story.
