One of the most incredible endings I've ever read. Made me tear up.

Very good book, not quite the same quality as his other stuff because it's his first ever major published book but I'm really excited for the universe he's building with a modern Sanderson writing it

First half of the book is slow with lots of exposition; however, every single ounce of it pays off for the Sanderlanche that comes at the end and leaves you excited for what's to come. Can't wait for the next book and Sanderson has once again got the his hooks in me

Great ending to the first trilogy

More realistically a 3.5, solid short story and the background to him writing it is amazing
