See allThe beginning of this was mostly about the extensive body of research around this subject and super helpful and insightful. The further along we got off that path though the faster it clearly took a turn into the authors highly personalized interpretation of the world in relation to this stuff. Rating it four starts still just off of the beginning, but I bounced off of the last third of the book pretty hard.
Simple accessible knowledge related to mindfulness and meditation. Thich Nhat Hanh had a talent for revealing the depth of these things through absolute simplicity. Worth reading more than once, and being short and sweet, it lends itself to that. Excellent starting point if you have no context to mindfulness, and a beautiful refresher otherwise.
