I was really enjoying this one until I got to the very end. It becomes very apparent that Desi has some serious control issues that need to be addressed. They're blown off and accepted in a way that I just find unsettling. Her actions are seriously insane and dangerous sometimes. The first half of the book is definitely a fun time, but the second half is where things start to get crazy and unbelievable. The harmless antics the characters got into in the beginning were interesting enough, so I'm curious what the author will release in the future!
i was really hoping for something like the flatshare but i'm almost halfway through and i'm bored and not clicking with the writing style, so it's time to give up.
Didn't enjoy this as much the second time around. I think having just finished the 4th in the series left a bad taste in my mouth and made me more nit picky than usual. Also, some of the things Strike said about women really rubbed me the wrong way. Ick. I feel like his comments stuck out more on audio.
I loved Robin just as much as the first time, but I feel like many of her issues could have been made less if she just opened her mouth and expressed her feelings. It's still an issue in the latest book and it's driving me insane.
this was so boring. how can i be 150 pages in and nothing important has happened?? i couldn't even enjoy the cute arcade date
This always made me want to live in a boxcar. I thought their idea of using a hole behind a waterfall to keep their milk cold was the smartest thing in the world.
