It's panto season in Little Shaw. The local dramatic society are staging Mother Goose. In a bid to increase ticket sales, they invite TV darling Monica Larkwell to star in the panto. After all, she starred in that same panto in Little Shaw 30 years previously. Ginny and the other widows are involved backstage, helping out with costumes and scenery. Rehearsals are underway, and all is well. Oh no it isn't! Yep, you've guessed it. Monica Larkwell is murdered. 🪡🖌️
Of course the widows become involved in the investigation, despite making a conscious decision not to. There's plenty of suspects to choose from and, as usual, the investigation is not without its twists and turns. Little Shaw itself is earning some notoriety in the newspapers, owing to the number of murders that have occurred there. Yeah, not sure I'd want to retire there. 😉🪡🖌️
