I really enjoyed the book!!! It was a nice, easy yet captivating read, and I genuinely never was sure where the story would take me, but it wasn't in a confusing way. It was just a nice adventure to be a part of as a reader.

(SPOILERS BELOW)

I was sad when Julian was killed by Legend toward the end, but was really happy with the twist of him not being dead, being Legend's brother, hello??? (I can't wait to see what happens next with that), and Tella being alive, then not alive, then alive again. The whole story was tied together well in the end, and I enjoyed the love story between Julian and Scarlett throughout the game. I felt her pain when she lost him, found out he lied to her, and struggled to trust him at the end, but I'm glad she chose to forgive him once he came clean, and that he really did come to love and care for her in spite all of what was going on.

I already have book #2 Legendary checked out from the library, and I have every intention of finishing this series + Spectacular. And I'm not normally someone who gets hooked into a series with my ADHD. Very fun story, and I loved seeing Scarlett come into her own, choose her own path, and that her and her sister were able to escape their father.

I'm so excited to read the next one!! <3
