I wish the book was much shorter because it got repetitive. It had an interesting premise but the execution was just okay.

The author definitely mishandled domestic violence, murder, and Ukraine in general. I'm not a fan.

Ever since I traveled to Estonia, I've always wanted to learn more about their history. I'm grateful for a member of myTBR.co to have recommended this to me because I breezed through it and learned a lot about Estonia's history during the Soviet Union and post-USSR. It's extremely informative and highly recommended reading it. I just wish it was longer so I could read more about the author.

This book is alright. The characters were alright, but I didn't see the plot develop in a meaningful way.

This book was amazing beyond belief. I can actually relate to some of her stories because I was also raised as a conservative Catholic in my childhood and felt obligated to follow God's teachings without questioning it. Although I never was in a cult, it's wild knowing how religious trauma and childhood trauma can affect our adult lives. I'm glad that Tia got out of the cult and started going through therapy to heal. Overall, this memoir is a 10/10, and I highly recommend everyone to read it.

This book was an entertaining read, and it was my first novel from her that I read. The characters were pretty interesting, and I was on my toes trying to figure out what happened with the dad. I can't wait to hear more of her works.

This book was quite boring and I chose to DNF it since I'm not wasting my time reading about uninteresting characters.

It's a useful audiobook to learn French slang.

I was captivated by this book from start to finish. I'm glad that Carvell Wallace was able to break the cycle and that they healed from the abuse they encountered in their life.

My professor recommended me this book and I'm so glad that I got my hands on it because it's truly one of the best books about job-hunting. It lays out the job-hunting process and gives me hope as I'm going through it myself. Thank you so much, Charlie Trautmann, for recommending me this book. I can't wait to have my own copy of it so I can do the flower exercises by myself.

I read the first few pages of this book and decided to not continue reading it. The plot doesn't fascinate me and I felt like it was unnecessary to have an author's interlude before going into the first chapter.

I didn't find the book engaging at all, and didn't even finish a single chapter. I don't think that I'll ever read this book for a second time, and don't want to bother reading through this book. It's not for me at all.

I attempted to read this book and managed to read only one chapter before I decided to not finish it. This book isn't for me and I don't plan on finishing it anytime soon.

Je pense que ce livre est utile pour les apprenants de français. Même si le livre a utilisé la langue simple, j'ai trouvé que l'histoire était intéressante et je me suis bien amusée avec les personnages, surtout John et Becky. J'ai pensé que la fin de l'histoire était un peu exagérée, mais j'étais contente pour tous les personnages. Les exercices à la fin de chaque chapitré étaient utiles ! J'ai appris plusieurs mots grâce à France Dubin et Easy French. J'espère que je pourrai voir le direct ce vendredi.

The topic is interesting and kept me reading for two consecutive hours, but the last third of the book didn't capture my attention as much as the first two-thirds of the book.

J'ai entendu de ce livre dans un club de lecture sur italki. J'avais l'impression que ce livre était génial, et en général, ce livre est excellent et incroyable. C'est mon cinquième livre en français et je vous recommande de lire ce livre dans la version originale ou la version en anglais ; ça dépend avec votre langues qui vous connaissez bien.

This was an engaging read that kept me on my feet from start to finish. I'm glad that I heard about this book from Instagram, and as someone who is a queer and disabled Asian-American woman in STEM, I can painfully relate to some of her experiences. I never did a PhD, but some of the things she wrote in her book hit home for me.

It was a pleasure to meet Meredith Broussard in person for an All Tech Is Human (ATIH) event in NYC. This book eloquently discusses tech ethics along with her personal experiences of how tech has benefited and harmed her. This should be one of the required readings for future technologists and anyone whose interested in tech for social good.

The book was a let-down based on the summary that I read and seeing the cover. I didn't like the world building of the book and the writing felt obnoxious to me. I stopped after around 77 pages.
