What a gorgeous book - I’m going to be reflecting on it for awhile and am already looking forward to revisiting it down the line. One of those books that makes you grateful for great writers who are willing to share their art.

I loved learning about Kelly Bishop's life. Like a lot of people, I was introduced to her through watching Gilmore Girls, but she had a very successful career (hello, Tony Award!) long before and since that show. She seems to have such a good head on her shoulders, and is a really inspiring example of someone who has been able to make it in the industry through a combination of determination, grit, talent, patience, and the good fortune of timing. I hope she returns to Broadway soon, because I'll be first in line to buy tickets.

Loved this book - I couldn't put it down. The only thing that I would've liked to see is a version of this book where the protagonist was a woman. But otherwise, love the metaphor here about coping with the outcomes of your decisions, the sliding doors of life - so beautiful.
