The plot and ideas are really good, but the reading experience was not as expected. I liked how the villains in the book is portrayed but in many places the book failed to keep my attention and I feel it leaves a lot of questions unanswered.

It was fucking scary

Made me think how small and insignificant we humankind are from the perspective of a higher order civilization.

Marketing it as Dante's Inferno meets Piranesi must be some kind of sick joke. The characters are not lovable, the motives are not that strong. The whole book felt like an excuse to show the readers that the author knows about certain things. I wish the author focused more on the characters, the journey and less on the paradoxes and references. Overall an utter disappointment.
