The author is getting better at describing scenes. A lot is happening, and I’ve been in suspense since I started this book.

I’m not sure I’m ready for the impending conflict. I can’t wait to read the next books. 🙈

I just finished the third book in this harem series, and I’m really into it now (for the story/plot, not for the harem part). The books are short, but the pacing is great, and they always keep me interested. I never feel bored while reading, and I keep wanting to know what happens next.

The ending of book 3 had a big cliffhanger, so of course I’m jumping into book 4 right away. At this point, it feels like one big story split into parts… almost like watching a TV series with episodes. I’m invested in the story now and really want to see how things go from here.

Things are becoming more interesting. It’s better than the first book, although the male thoughts sometimes become a bit much.

I think I’ll start with book 3 now.

I wanted to read a spicier book aimed at men. I tried a few others but dropped them quick, because they were very cliché and felt empty.

This book is simple. It reads easy, and I kept waiting for the spicy scenes, but it stays pretty moderate. The rest of the story feels like a straightforward zombie tale, but I kind of like it. It’s an easy read and a good break after tackling The Expanse or Dune.

The Bobiverse series is my favourite, always leaving me eager for the next book.

While I can't give it a full 5-star rating because there's often a storyline involving one of the Bobs that doesn't fully capture my interest, this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment.

Each Bob has their own adventures, and while these can be significant, they don't disrupt the main narrative if you choose not to focus on them.

It can be challenging to keep track of all the Bobs and their plotlines, especially if it's been a while since reading the last book.

Despite this, the series remains incredibly engaging and enjoyable.

Very enjoyable story, but for me the ending was predictable. The last few chapters missed the excitement I felt with the previous ones.

I could've read this in 1 sitting if I had the time. No unnecessary filler to get through. Not too much focus on combat. A great read!

The end I expected, but not that I'd like a book like this.

I had an idea where the story was headed, but it was a still surprise after all. Short and enjoyable to listen to on a long ride.

Good start and ending.

Finishing the book took long because I didn't enjoy the middle part. Starts off good and ends good, but the middle felt like filler to me. Perhaps because I started the book with some expectations as I'm running Tomb of Annihilation for my D&D group.

This book has me longing for more similar stories from competitors like Valve and Epic, preferably interweaved into this story. Those were my gaming years, and after half-life, I never really got into gaming anymore as much as I did back then.

Growing up with all their games, but not caring about the creators at that time, this story was an entertaining read. It was even a little relatable, being a programmer myself, where my passion became my job.

It was hard to keep up with the names at times wherein one sentence he would use their first name and in another their last name.

Cliffhanger ending.

Fundamental concepts for people who want to improve their code. I kind of agree this book is more for new graduates than for experienced developers, but it can serve as a reference when trying to explain or justify one of the concepts explained in the book. (for the ones you agree with at least)

You don't have to read the book if you can summarize it in 1 sentence. 1 extra star because I'll try it.

A confirmation that what I'm doing is right. The basics that work. More relevant for the people failing at interviews.

It's a little dull in the middle, but it's a good book overall.

I expected more from the end though! I'm left longing for more.

Part of this method works for me, but another large part is just something I don't want to do. At least the book is a reminder that whatever I'm doing is good.

Easy to read book with a very likable main character. I both read and listened to this book, and the Audible narration is top notch.
