A great review of the State of DevOps report data but it goes further than just the 4 metrics that the authors found useful in classifying high performing teams.

I especially loved the discussion on Maturity models vs Capability models.

Really helped me reframe some of the work I'm currently doing (not SDLC related but the discussion in this book gave me a lot to think about) and focus on what I'm measuring and how to relate that back to my objectives.

Recommend to people who are thinking about software delivery and interested in improving delivery performance of their teams

I feel like there's a lot of potential for the universe to grow. I'm looking forward to cracking open the next one

I'm definitely too old to be reading this lol - it's like a bad action movie with pop counterculture and lots of exposition.

Aims for subversive but seems pretty cheap by today's standards.
